Jonathan Swift (1667-1745) was born in Dublin of English parents. "Gulliver's Travels" is the story of a young man who likes travelling on ships. Gulliver's ship sinks and he wakes up on an island where the people are very, very small. He helps them when pirates attack and they hep him to return to England.
