It was an honour that I could not believe when I was asked to write my autobiography. But this is not the book that I thought that I was going to write. Relations, friends and artists were sent to the guillotine. I even cut everyone laughing in a hamam at Kayseri. Much of life in London has been cut out too. And just as well, because the book would go on forever...
