Wuthering Heights (1874) is the only novel by Emily Bronte (1818 - 1848), a British novelist and poet. She was the middle of the world - famous Bronte sisters. She published Wuthering Heights under the masculine pseudonym Ellis Bell. The work tells tıhe story of passionate, yet thwarted, love between Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw. Wuthering Heights became as one of the world's greatest love stories and a classic of English literature.
